JH Reach partners with local community leaders and organizations to restore and bring Hope to individuals, families, and communities where we work and serve.
Our employees are active in serving and volunteering in our community like being a mentor to at-risk youth, serving on boards of non-profits, and using their skills and resources to make a difference in our own backyard.
John C. Maxwell leadership Foundation
Local leaders have worked with the John Maxwell team to implement a leadership round table curriculum. They have hosted several leadership conferences, facilitated two city projects, and spurred collaboration in the county to further leaders and transform our communities. As a result, the leadership cabinet for Ellis County researched to determine needs and potential next steps for a county-wide collaboration. This research led to a partnership with Unite DFW and Unite Ellis to inform, connect and equip those in our county to care for local needs. For this inaugural year, United Ellis will focus on:

Varsity Leadership Academy
This Program Is Empowering Students With Leadership Values And Unity.
The Varsity Leadership Academy is a program that empowers students on a team or in a group to mentor and lead their teammates, school, and community with values and unity. We do this by connecting the students to community leaders and community resources. The connection provides a vision on leadership from leaders and coaches speaking from experience.

More than a game
More Than a Game has been using the sport of soccer to reach neglected, vulnerable, and refugee youth with the Hope of the Gospel through weekly discipleship and outreaches. They are now partnering with other churches and ministries to help them reach more youth in their community by developing multi-purpose sports outreach fields. The professional grade synthetic turf fields can be used for multiple sports and outreaches throughout the week and have a life span of 12-18 years so they will be a catalyst to reach and disciple youth and their families for years to come. Through these partnerships, they are able to provide these fields at a considerably discounted price for the ministries and provide training for how to run programming, outreaches, tournaments, and discipleship on the fields that will have a deep and long-lasting impact on the next generation.
Hope fields
JH Reach partners with several other ministries to help build Hope Field’s that reach thousands of youths through a multi-purpose sports outreach field. These field are used as a center for outreach for youth in the community to play soccer and other sports on throughout the week, with weekly scheduled discipleship programming, leadership and character-building training, and evangelistic tournaments throughout the year. It will be a hub for youth and families to receive food distributions, structured after school programs for kids, and youth ministry for the surrounding community.
